When you have a blank screen, try the obvious

1. Make sure all cables are firmly attached
2. Make sure all power related cables are switched on
3. If there is no success check if the PC unit itself is running, then check the fuse in the monitor plug if there is one. Try another cable just to eliminate all possibilities
4. If these steps still dont help it might just be that your monitor has died
